  • Summary: Eleven photographs of people and views of China by Lai Afong, Milton Miller, St. John Edwards and other unidentified makers. The images of people variously depict a woman holding a child, a group of policemen, two men with four youths in a studio setting, a shoemaker and client, a celebratory procession paused in front of a temple, and a collage of photographic portraits. The various views of China show Nanjing city wall and moat, Queen's Road in Hong Kong, a street scene in Shanghai, a garden in Guangzhou, and an island in Xiamen.
